I keep thinking it’s as if I’m looking at the shadow of the higher dimensions on the graph, the attempt to project the higher dimensional hyperspheres onto a 1D image like a circle unfurled I mean, what does 6 dimensions represented as a point on a curved line really mean? Perhaps the volume is decreasing because there’s a limit to how much material that is available as this is representing a real physical relationship between tangible quantities represented as numbers.
