I just have to trust the methodologies used for slaughter are as humane as possible.

I was a vegan for a short time for a girlfriend, a vegetarian on my own for a while after that ’til I upped back to beef again. I love a good steak. I just have to trust the methodologies used for slaughter are as humane as possible. [see http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-1368868/Temple-Grandin-Autistic-woman-leading-animal-behaviour-expert.html for slaughterhouse ideas that are humane] – and hope that the crap they add in the US to the feed and to their care isn’t TOO awful for me or the environment and then… I eat up.

But I have no problem with vegans. It’s a choice. Just a lot of work. It’s like religious fasting. Same idea.
