I have to reason my way towards empathy as I don’t think I naturally feel it much. Thankfully, I’ve practiced for a long time so I can reason quickly
Brain: Analyzes: (“Body crumbled over with pained expression on face, must be in pain”)
Mouth says: “Oooh, are you ok, that looks like hurt”
THEN brain pulls up a corresponding memory where I felt a similar pain.
All out of order I think but I don’t know as it’s normal for me.
So, this is also true with how I process forgiveness.
