When I think of the Riemann hypothesis, this part of this song comes to mind. [I made this a few days ago; unrelated directly to Riemann but give me enough words and I can make it sound convincingly appropriate tongue emoticon ]

My mental visualization of the problem is that of drawing the points beyond the other side of the paper (imaginary) the pencil is dotting on (real) but being able to see them now without having to change perspective or move the paper.
I have no idea at which point I started seeing imaginary numbers as “beyond the front of the paper”, with the paper front representative of real numbers but it stuck: an analogy from adolescence somewhere.
