I had to imitate the sing song way people say it.
See, what I say it, I mean it and I can follow it up with numerous examples of these common threads in humanity, throughout history, etc in some way; I can come up with SOMETHING.
But I also know that not everybody does what I do. So that’s why I couldn’t process it at first. People can be inauthentic out of some kind of expected politeness; they say things but know not what they say; it’s just words that follow a formula that are supposed to generate a particular result for them

I try NOT to use the phrase “everybody feels that way” because we don’t know the depths of people’s problems — or the shallowness. Where is their line of truth and their fraud? Where are they honest with themselves and where are they lying to themselves? Where are they lying for social lubricant and are they using it too much?’
