I guess that’s kind of what I do. I mess around with audio on computers. Sometimes I’ll program music but usually it’s just messing around in Audacity, or doing weird stuff like talking through a piano.

but I’ve always messed around. Here’s me at age 12, programmed a song into my Tandy Color Computer 2 in 1984. Had a stereo multivoice soundpak. I had to program the sounds manually using additive synthesis, although I basically just changed the numbers around until I got the sound I liked.
I just like making music. I never liked the music-making culture so I never joined it. But I never stop.

. I never could do the whole critic route which is why I didn’t want Julliard. Even at age 10, I could see the future: practicing perfectly for perfect performance, over and over and over again.
But I prefer just sitting down and playing randomly for hours. Stick me in front of a piano or some other instrument with nothing else to do, and I’ll just play whatever.
Improvising whatever comes out of my fingers for hours on end was a stress reliever for an anxious adolescence.
Recorded this in a church basement back in the late 80s / early 90s through some guitar pedals. Ok, I’ll stop posting links now; I don’t have spit and polish.. I just produce ‘stuff’ non stop and move on.
