I only got enthusiastic about one race like folks did about Trump and that was just to “try it out”, see what it felt like. I got ‘into’ the Florida Govs race in 2018. It was exciting, roller coaster. I understood the thrill of the ride. But when it was over over, where I followed it through to the final double-checked vote, I thought “nah”, not for me. Too much drama.
