I grew up with Trump living not far from me. He’s not a genuine person. He’s sales. Always sales. “Confidence Man” is what it’s called. They do everything to try to gain your confidence in them so they can sell a product or service. I knew him in the 80s, 90s, 00s – long before this President thing he’s up to now. So personally? I don’t see anything genuine in him. I’m biased from experience as his behavior is identical to people who sold used cars where I grew up. I don’t hate him. I’d just never trust him.

Here he’s selling: “everything is ok, folks. It’s getting taken care of so don’t worry about gun control or the 15 children that were murdered or about future school shootings. I have everything under control.” But he doesn’t.

t’s the thumbs up that was out of place. Smiling is expected.

and – if he’s sincerely not sad about the situation, that’s a problem. It means he will do nothing to help prevent it from happening in the future.

He might sincerely think everything is ok.

This event happened only 100 miles east of my home, so it’s close to me. We get hit by the same hurricanes. My nephew is almost 13 and going to public school, and I have a 5 and 6 year old niece and nephew also going to schools here.

I don’t care about Obama. He’s in the past. Today’s lawmakers however are in the now and they’re issuing “thoughts and prayers”. Thoughts and prayers are for people without any power to change things.

That won’t happen in the USA. Our culture is too addicted to firearms.

But the AR-15, which is the most common weapon for mass shootings, can be banned. Or we could have mental health screenings for buyers

But all we get is thoughts and prayers.
