Oh, the Alan Watts link was mostly for my own cognitive processes. In short, I was thinking out loud. #2 seems more my path and #1 seems more your path. I cannot do #1, but I could do #2. I don’t know your capabilities, but my impressions seem to go that way. I just know I couldn’t write a fictional work in the manner you are inspired to do.
I’m not telling you what to do/not do, just trying to clarify intent after-the-fact… but really, I was just thinking aloud w/out intent. tongue emoticon.
I jump from one thing to another too frequently to be able to read an entire book from cover to cover.
I’ll find the occasional hidden piece of gold in a rock, and go, “hey, that’s shiny!” – but lack the patience to smelt it, remove impurities, pound it, fashion it into jewelry, and end up with something masterful. I continually *want to*, but want isn’t enough. I get as far as “proof of concept” [the ‘YES – IT *CAN* BE DONE!” stage] – but rarely further than that.
