I get a similar response on my crappy youtube videos too. I just got this one yesterday. [it’s full of ‘language’ as is typical of Youtube culture] – his comment had me laughing for several whole minutes – people are awesome
I don’t mean to be which is the weird thing. It all makes sense to me Like this thing I did; I had the Hotel California stuck in my head and wanted to get it out of my head So what I did is I made a version of it that expresses just how *creepy* the lyrics to the song _really_ are when you stop and think about the story they’re telling.
It’s creepier than I usually do things because I kinda scared myself a little and I don’t like doing that too much. Oddly, “Yupop”‘s response wasn’t to this video but to another one but it really belonged with this one I think.
a nice thing I learned from that little project is that I *finally* know how to beat Youtube’s copyright protection! It’s very hard to beat. I’d change songs to MIDI and they’d recognize it. I’d change the key, make it minor or major and they’d pick it out. But making it varying like this and I guess their automated systems can’t figure out it. Feels like a victory to beat sophisticated analysis systems.
