I found #perfectwords for my #beliefs
Something I can stand behind at all points in my life.
I believed it when I was very young.
I believed it all through school.
I believed it up through today.
I will believe it for the rest of my #Time

#Friendship is an interesting case.  Friendship doesn’t have to mean people.

If you are friends with your cat, you and your cat have a friendship.
If you are friends with characters in a book, that friendship is real.
If you are friends with someone on the Internet, that friendship is real.
If you are friends with your friends, that friendship is real.
If you are friends with your computer, that friendship is real.

Of course not all friendships are perfect friendships.  A friendship goes bad and you can have what they call “an enemy”.  But it’s still a friendship.
How?
Because you care.
Sound illogical?  It’s not.  The opposite of friendship is not caring.  You care so little that you don’t even say “I don’t care”.  They’re not in your thoughts.  They might as well not exist. There’s nothing that links you and them.  That’s the opposite of friendship.

All war is brother vs brother, friend vs friend.  We may forget that we were once friends but the forgetting doesn’t take away the friendship.  The caring is still there, it’s just turned from love into hate.  Hate is disappointment.  Hate is anger.  These are feelings you have for a friend.  You don’t have these feelings for someone or something you don’t care about.
“They should be more like me”.
They should’ve done something different.”
That’s still caring.  That’s still friendship.  But it’s forgotten friendship.

I believe in belief.
I believe in creativity.
I believe in friendship and its power.

If someone asks, “Hey Ken, when are you gonna get a tattoo?””, no longer can I say, “I’ll get a tattoo only when I find something I’m willing to die with in my skin.”

Been saying that for years.  People stopped asking.  They probably thought I was just making excuses.  I wasn’t.

Now, I found what I call “perfect words”.  If someone comes at me with a tattoo gun and says, “OK WHADDAYA WANT?”, these are the words I would choose to have on me.

I don’t have a symbol yet.  I suspect it’s >.< but with the middle dot hovering inbetween the > and the <.  not the emoticon heh. Means something different to me.

I’d also consider a dragon getting his teeth brushed just as he’s about to exhale flames, by a guy trying to brush his teeth using toothpaste coming quickly out of a pinhole in the tube.  That represents how frustrating getting ideas out of me using the limited Time and Abilities that I have.

I put a call out for artists on Vine.  Nobody tried yet.  But I’ll get someone to draw it for me someday.  But I’d only get it on a tattoo if I had to.
My main point is there’s something I could put on there if I really wanted it and I wouldn’t feel stupid about it afterwards.
Things that are easy for others, are hard for me.  This was very satisfying.

FriendshipI believe in belief. I believe in creativity. I believe in friendship and its power.
