I had you pegged for a non-theist; now I get that good emotion of “yay I nailed it tongue emoticon ” – Your style of writing reminds of early Usenet non-theists… and you’re indeed a rare specimen online these days.
I’m agnostic (in the I don’t know category) but i relate to the non-theist position as well as the Pascal’s Wager (ok I’ll use the word) “theists”.
I find the compatitiveness of hardliners of any stripe to be distasteful. I should think any future society requires difference of opinion rather than warzones, clubs, teams, sports, politics – wherever you find a strong A vs …. position.
