I was involved with the Eastern Orthodox heavily in my mid-late 20s and met some truly awesome people online and in real life in the process.
While I’m not an active participant right now, I never held any grudges either. I experienced a lot, learned a lot, and sometimes I take a look and learn something else I didn’t know before.
I was raised Methodist and while I hold no grudges with them either, I always felt they “needed more candles”. I didn’t even know what I meant as a teenager thinking that. So in exploring that direction of life as far as I could, this is where I’d ended up in that leg of my life journey. Funny thing is, I never “left” any of it – any of the groups I participated in and learned from and experienced new experiences with. I continue my journey towards some kind of comprehension of existence and they each become a part of myself in the process.
