It was a common meme on Youtube about six months ago. Lots of remixes of it. I have a 12 yr old nephew so it’s my excuse to keep 1/2 an eye on the kid-culture out there, such as youtube and stuff. I enjoy watching trends come and go.
Hm, I think rape murder and assault *are* quite tangible things. I think of intangible as intellectual property and such.
I see where you’re getting to although those have $ tags attached to them as well. Insurance companies for example are professionals at putting hard figures to various crimes. Is there a value to a life? Yes there is. Rape? Sure – lost work, therapy, lost productivity, healthcare costs… and even things like the relative happiness of a community has a price tag on it.
I doubt there’s a thing, material or immaterial or concept out there that there isn’t some price tag on… some way that it’s been translated into cash value, or has at least some economic spin to it.
Even religion. Acts of God are right there in black and white and God can get pretty expensive.
