I ended up in the same place from an entirely different direction!
Dewey Decimal 128.3 – Philosophy and Psychology > Philosophy Of Humanity > The Human Condition > Attributes and faculties

The “Rational imagination”: In early 2020, I got there by a number of means but notably it had all the cognitive science stuff that cognitive science wasn’t able to handle well.
.3 Attributes and faculties
Examples: appetite, imagination, memory, reason, will”

Today, I got there doing a CENTRALNESS sort of the project I’m working on where I’m connecting Wikipedia subjects of interest to me to their “main root” and to each other, using only categories and not articles whenever possible to preserve the structure of the hierarchy.

I chose the top 7 levels which contains 72 major categories out of the 1139 categories.

I did a search on “Google Scholar” and this book pops up as #1.
Natural philosophy : from social brains to knowledge, reality, morality, and beauty, Thagard, Paul.

I use “OCLC Classify” to find the Dewey Decimal of it, if available. It’s 128, or in LC: Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Science.

That 128 looked REALLY REALLY familiar and I searched my own “thought collector” for it, and I found a post from Apr 25, 2020 titled: DDC: 128.3 THAT’S IT

and it is! Confirmed from an entirely different direction. [a Donna Haraway text fitting in there too adds to it, as she’s PRECISELY where my “Political Compass” lay apparently. I really should read her work).
