I don’t like losing information. I think that is one of my flaws. In pre-algebra, I was learning BASIC at home, all about variables and such. But then came the way variables are used in algebra – and the goal to eliminate as many as possible. I used to do my papers and account for every variable off to the side ,which got me marked as mistakes . I was 11/12/13 ish. But I actually felt bad for the lost variables in algebra – pre-algebra actually – and while I would eliminate variables in later math and not write them down, I remembered their trails. It was all a basic program to me. Probably why I did poorly in calculu
