I don’t know what the current plastics narrative is.
But I know that the plastics industry has been doomed for some time, at least with any polymers that can’t be recycled, just due to limited raw material.
But a growable plastic resource, such as polymers made from renewable resources such as corn or soy, won’t run into that issue.
But this is just me talking out my butt, thinking it through. I don’t know what the reality is at all as I haven’t researched.
My thought process started with “If I ran a plastics factory, what would be my worry and solution?”
