I don’t know them personally but I believe they probably see themselves as American militia, defending America against hostilities, foreign and domestic. Are they really? I don’t know enough to say. But I believe that’s probably their impulse.

I don’t know (or care) enough about them to say. All I ever see with their name is one form of propaganda or another, trying to persuade me one way or the other. I’m just guessing here.

But the impulse to defend one’s nation against perceived hostilities is a common American impulse, so I’m presuming.

I can’t speak for anything in Europe — they do things differently.

We’re in a “daddy” phase of politics, so I expect any activism to have an authoritarian lean to it.

Nobody’s listening to anybody preaching mommy stuff at the moment. It’s daddy vs daddy right now.

I’m just the product of what they called in the 80s, “dysfunctional family” simply because I was raised by my mother and grandmother.

Did they stop using that term? I dunno. It was ridiculous then as now.

I became my own daddy, so I never understood grr-punch-fight-daddy-rawr stuff myself. Defend myself when necessary but otherwise, if you don’t bother me, I leave you alone too.

Sure, get THAT taken away from us too. It’s like the people who find all the loopholes and use them so that the NEXT person that comes along can’t use any of them because they’ve closed them all up.

This is why we get so many laws and regulations on the books you know.
