I’m not a fan of either man either as people or thought leaders (Peterson because of how he took a lot of my own favorite ideas and put them together in a way that grates against me and if I started debating his points, I could never reach a bottom – which is why I don’t watch his stuff — and Krauss’s hard new-atheist stance has a smugness that crawls under my skin almost as much as his and Steven Pinker’s Epstein involvement (taking money and helping with defense even AFTER his initial conviction) …
I don’t know if I could watch this but they are well suited for a debate because they are ideological opposites and yet both possess the same kind of certainty of themselves
so.. I know I couldn’t watch it but they are suited for debate. Krauss’ religion game is very weak so Peterson could easily attack him from a mythological POV but as that stuff doesn’t exist for Krauss at all, it won’t phase him making him a ducking target.
I could be wrong: i haven’t seen the debate but this is how I imagine it.
