I don’t even care that Trump stole government money for him and his family to enjoy; they ALL do it. That’s the thing; Trump is no different than every politician except he’s a naked politician. Absolutely transparent politician. Maybe that’s what people like? He shows everybody what all politicians are?
And I guess for many he’s their first politician, esp if they were never interested in politics before so they think he’s different.
