“It is what it is and that’s enough” may be where I end up but I’m not quite ready for that. I can’t accept the platonic realm as an eternal unchanging space of forms from which we are all but a poor shadow of..
…and yet once we get into the so-called classical realm of physics, it’s a very rule governed space.
Yes, we house the simplifications in algorithms that humans developed for our usage and yet, they have predictive power, implying that the universe _does_ *follow* rules of a kind.

of a kind. So from whence are these rules? A substance 10,000 years hence or prior, obeys the “laws of physics”. Great and so it does. So mote it be.
Yet what is the animating force that we refer to as energy? time? change? entropy? It seems to be patterned in a manner that’ emergent and can be predicted over time yet the algorithms are so simply that the algorithms without time cannot show those patterns
