I understand. I admire your passion.
Well, the lack of immediacy has to do with something that’s important to me. *I’m passionate* about … dispassion I guess you could say in communication. I don’t care for hyperbole as a tool to convince people – I consider it emotional manipulation. [you should see how passionate I get when ASPCA’s “Arms of an Angel” commercial came up on TV. I think I wrote 10 pages ranting about the emotional manipulation in that hyperbole and how it almost completely turned me off of caring about abused animals entirely].
So that’s my passion. I have passion, just tilting at different windmills.
