I don’t believe the right to vote should be removed from ex-felons. We don’t distinguish between violent and non-violent felony which is a shame because in some states, a lot of crimes previously “misdemeanors” are now all bumped up into being “low grade felonies” – and yet, a felony-is-a-felony and lost rights are gone
