I do things right away. So when I wanted to master the stock market enough to profit ,I learned and did it. When I wanted to learn how to do well enough in real estate to be able to stay home and do whatever work from there instead of an office, I did. When I wanted to figure out how to run a successful business that was just enough to support us all down here and hold onto a mortgage, I did, have and am. And when I wanted to join a monastery, I didn’t do that but I found a transferrable way to do it ,which ended up defining the last 21 years of my life, which is living in the woods around trees, which is what I wanted. There’s other things as well but that’s basically how I do things. I see, I want, I do but I don’t pine after things that are grossly out of reach _too_ much, for myself. SO that way, if I die now, I have a clear head. If I die next year ,I have a clear head even though I’ll have accomplished more hopefully by then. I do have grander scale notions involving society changes that need to be made, and I work and have been working on them my whole life, at least since I was 17 but they’re ongoing long term goals that are just incorporated into my daily routines. And – the secret to your future life is hidden in your daily routine. So, I do do goal setting but it’s folded into how I live my life.
