I do that but with the next day. Today is January 8th. I’m 53 years old. But it’s really January 7th. I’m 52 years old. I started thinking of myself as “53” after I was “52” for 6 months and a day. So when my birthday comes in a few weeks, it’ll be a happy surprise. But the date is the most useful. Because I forget what the date is all of the time, remembering tomorrow’s date makes me ready for it and then I find out oh, “oh no, it’s today”. I get a sense of relief. Because my short-term memory is so short, I get that “Oh no!” and relief about 15-23 times a day.
