I can’t answer for everybody, just like I’m not going to try to ask you to answer for every kind of person who wants status quo and why, because there is a garden full of different points of view, some you don’t agree with.
I’m just looking at a chart. There was a limited ban of some kind. That limited ban was lifted. Death tolls went up since the limited ban was lifted.
That’s all. I think the 2ndA is a Fed right as is the right to vote (no Voter ID laws) and right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Status Quo is how I see it right now. Not much changes to help.
I saw this, and if you can look past the political lean, that high velocity is more deadly internally is a bit of a big deal and I think a reasonable argument in favor of certain kinds of function to be curtailed.
I think it’s important to look at stuff like this because ignorance of it and “sticking to your guns” might cause you to lose all gun rights – or more than you want. We should have our 2ndA rights. But if we’re fighting against govt, they have bombs. Where’s my bombs?
Anyway, I don’t want to get too deep into it. I’m just saying you can have your cake and eat it too.
Oh it’s an article. Radiologist who has seen more gun shot wounds and death on a daily basis than any of us will likely ever see in our lives, saw something radically different internally with the Parkland school shooting victims.
Anyway, I try not to read too much for either side. I’m just proud of the “debate club” kids making use of their skills for something they care about and engaging in govt. Never saw high schoolers doing that kind of thing before, so that’s mostly been my thing.
