I’m sure it’s possible that all of those things may be true.
But I’m still not going to watch them.
They’re just distractions from my own existence and takes time away from my capacity to produce REAL CHANGE with REAL PEOPLE, not statistical-point-hypothetical people, reduced to graphs and charts of statistical probabilities, means and averages.
They’re talking numbers, not people.
Now, I have a friend who is in risk assessment. She works in a high level network security environment. Her JOB is risk assessment.
If MY JOB was risk assessment, I would look at those things because I’d be in a position of influence.
But I’m not. I don’t.
I can influence YOU. I can influence MYSELF. I can influence my cat over there by shaking food at her.
But the world population? I don’t need to be worried. It goes against what I might usually say but it’s true; Not my job to worry about it.
