I believe there will be an increase in murder suicides, particularly couples who feel there’s no financial way out and lacking help from the community. I have seen no laws that offer additional assistance for those who cannot afford to carry to term, nor assistance in job security for fathers, nor guarantees of child support in cases where the father runs away from his responsibility as a father. I am aware that correlation doesn’t equal causation; but there are a lot of complex issues at play that legislating a moral stance for those not of the same religion will cause.

We do abolish some laws against murder – or have exceptions as it were. We have state sanctioned murders on a regular basis. For example, if you are placed into the law enforcement class of society, you are granted immunities from prosecution for murder and are considered justified murdering.
We also have capital punishment in some places as well, but police are allowed to kill citizens.
We play semantic games and don’t call it murder. But it is. We go to war and kill not only soldiers but also civilians of other countries. We consider that honorable and the deaths of foreign children is considered collateral damage.
So our laws against murder are far from absolute as it stands, even prior to rescinding roe v wade
