I believe it, but don’t forget in 92, that was BEFORE the automatic weapons ban. “Federal Assault Weapons Ban (AWB)” was in 1994. It was in response to a school shooting from 1988. Then after Columbine in 1999, schools across the USA instituted “school shooting drills” right next to fire drills. So, it hasn’t gone down in a vacuum.
