I am aware that thanks to being able to import using cheap labor overseas, importing cheaper products from overseas all on pennies-on-the-dollar labor and material, allows large corporations to reap major profits. But any lower prices we get as consumers is ONLY a “side effect” and not the “main reason” and it is VERY easy to modify. I’m not knocking the PRODUCTION and operations. Nor am I arguing that there SHOULDN’T be profit. Nor am I saying (necessarily) to wreck the system tonight. I’m not a “burn it all down (govt / corp / whatever) guy. I’m saying this is not the optimum way. “Be grateful to your corporate overlords” is to me what “Trust the government” is to you. (and to me too).
