If you run a big business, you keep your politics out of it and listen to your clients. Multiculturalism is a fact of business. It’s not politics. If you sell to Americans, pay attention to American values. If you sell to Vietnamese, pay attention to Vietnamese values. Pretty basic stuff for global businesses but they all make mistakes. I don’t have any sympathy because this one is pretty basic. Nobody was watching properly. Now they’ll have an “American culture” expert ready, which they should have already had, being so big.
