I agree. Europe has been working on it and making inroads and changes already to their monopolic hold on internet.
America can learn a thing or two from them.
Remember: europe has better privacy rights than the USA so they’ve been stricter with facebook, google and apple to ensure citizen rights.
in the usa, companies are allowed almost total free reign over our information.
For example, in Europe, companies MUST delete a person’s data after a period of time if they’re not an engaged customer.
Contrast with the usa where mailing lists and now corporate data selling such as facebook personality profiles, etc are sold freely.
Even if you don’t like Europe for personal reasons or political reasons, this is one area they’re on the ball about.
