Herein is the distinction between Newton and Goethe.

I did not understand Goethe or any of the color aesthetic theories until my early 40s when I saw this video as I was all Newton and understood only Newton.

So the notion of color-as-relationship / process is shocking upon discovery – and rediscovery as it keeps getting forgotten, being tucked away in Art Theory classes and buried in advanced cognitive science.
