hehe I keep *him* updated sometimes Back when he was 7 or so, I started trying to stay two steps ahead and it was a lot of fun because I got to know everything. Worked for a few years. But now, he’s gotten more specific in his memes and is deeper in Youtube culture than I’ve ever gone, so he’s ahead of me now, although I still act like I know what he’s talking about when I don’t.
I’m glad though because I wanted him to be computer / internet saavy and he is. While he didn’t pick up my interest in programming yet (he might not and that’s fine), he’s at least not being tossed back and forth online like some young people are when they’re not prepared for the environment, which can be a fun but also harsh environment to grow up on if unprepared.
