He would always show up at EVERY event, esp in the 80s.
But, I’ll give him this: I’d say that 7 out of 10 times, it’s a good thing he showed up and brought a thing to light. (usually an unfair police shooting in a neighborhood that’s always pushed under the rug).
I think he’s made lasting change in many police procedures but it took a LONG long time. 90s were ALL pro-police and it looks like the 20s might be too but this time Federal.
He ain’t stupid. But the NY Post is always pro police, anti Sharpton. Sharpton’s anti-police. I don’t think Sharpton was as much about other tax-dodging folks as he was about highlighting bad police stuff.
Since NY Post is right-leaning, pro cop, they hate him.

Sharpton doesn’t like the tax man.

Sharpton is anti bad-cop.
