He isn’t John.
Let’s talk January 20th, 2017.
Right now, he’s just some guy with a Twitter account.
He’s some guy with a twitter account (who also happens to be President-elect). Is that better?
Heck, *I* have Twitter accounts that beat Trump (’til 2015)
I’d be fine with that if it was in addition to more a more detailed and comprehensive set of plans.
The lack of depth is bothersome. As a friend says, “America plays Monopoly. Russia plays Chess”. A lot of foreign nations play Chess.
But for public relations with the common man? Sure, Tweets are fine.
If it were Jesse Ventura, I wouldn’t mind. As far as style goes, Jesse Ventura would have my vote in that way. Gary Johnson is also interesting, straight to the point, doesn’t care about political correctness and doesn’t use more words than he has to.
If that’s your main criteria (I don’t believe it is), a lot of people fit that mold.
Other better candidates that would fit that mold, had they run, would be Mike Rowe. He’s a lot like that too.
He has real estate holdings and knows some fellow oligarchs. Ultimately, to me, this is just a sideways shift in oligarchies.
