very true! that’s why its good to keep strong emotions under check – and its hard! –but I try to forgive and forget the specific event – yet at the same time I think, “Okay, that’s that person’s tendancy – and they really can’t help themselves at this point in time, just as I have negative habits that I can’t help at this point in time”. Still, it’s hard not tos ay, “I can’t believe so-and-so said that! Can you believe it?” :-)
