Happened in my hometown of Roselle Park, NJ. I haven’t been there since 2002 and haven’t kept up on the news, but when searching something last year on the Civil War monuments being removed, I found out the American Humanist Association was going to have lawsuit against the town to remove it. The town council took it down as soon as they got wind of a potential lawsuit. From what I can tell, it was paid for and erected by a previous Mayor of the town in 2010, placed on the public library property.
