hah! I understand your chromatic color wheel now, Goethe!
I used Paint.NET and made a gradient going from yellow to red on the left, and from cyan to purple on the right. Then I blended the two sides, giving green at the bottom and magenta at the top.
Then I superimposed a Goethe color wheel.
So the sides are in parallel to each other, starting in the morning and moving to night.
In the middle where the two sides blend, you get green (life, plants, flower stems) and on the top you get magenta (a flowertop color you see a lot).
Hah! Now I ‘get you’ Goethe — at least I think. Makes sense to me at least.
