Had to break away from its religious heritage like rebellious teenagers.

Newton’s Laws are always something that would bug me. Also, the “Pauli Exclusion Principle”. I mean, I’m glad if it’ what keeps me from falling to the middle of the earth from my chair, but I still don’t like it. Seems ridiculous to me.

And with Newton, I don’t like how impetus (or is it inertia? I forget now), ORIGINALLY could have meant “either with inner source or approached from the outside”. But modern science ONLY accepts an outer-source POV.

Newton at least recognized the potential for an inner source but politically, that had to go in the young modern science movement in the 19th century, I believe. Had to break away from its religious heritage like rebellious teenagers. Oh well tongue emoticon
