People CALL ME those things, so I begrudgingly accept the labels of left and liberal or left libertarian or anarchist or far left or whatever.
and I tend to fall into the George Floyd camp easily as it were. Bleeding heart etc.
The ONLY reason I have a chuckle when, like in this case, it turns out to be a young disgruntled Republican on a murder-by-cop situation or whatever it turns out to be – is because of ALL THE PEOPLE desperately trying to pin it on Joe Biden or ANTIFA or whatever.
In cases where that DIDN’T happen, I didn’t jump for joy.
For example, do you remember the guy in Florida with the car bomb in the van that had all kinds of Trump stuff over it?
Was I gleeful?
No. I was sad. I was sad when Nancy Pelosi’s husband got whacked with a hammer. I was sad when there have been shootings from people whose political leanings were attributable to left right or some other thing like incel or whatever.
It’s sad. Nobody should feel in a position to do that – and while I crack jokes (what color were Christie McCaulliff’s eyes? Blue. One blew left, one blue right) – ultimately, I feel bad for anybody who does these kinds of things whether desperation or plan or mental illness.
