Growing up, I knew of the notion of a “good Christian man”. And I knew men that fit into this category. It wasn’t a reflection on anybody’s religion but on a certain character. To say “a good man” suffices too. In this photo, the good Christian man I see stands on the left-hand side. Why not the man on the right holding the sign that talks about Jesus a little? He probably read the Bible and goes to church sometimes right? Maybe the guy on the left never did. So I say “a good man”. What makes holding that sign mildly rebuking the man on the right The sign of a good man? It’s the difference between love and hate.
