The AT (or maybe it was a 386SX) is next to the main computer (a Tandy 1000 RLX at the time), and I think I was using the computer below the desk as a BBS server, and the monochrome screen above.Great setup. I never thought I’d end up using just a LAPTOP as I do now, but I had to simplify.

and for final proof: a recommendation from a friend at college via my LinkedIn.  They dubbed me the “VAX Wizard”.  Useless knowledge now, although having a deep understanding of the Internet from earlier on does have its perks now :P

“I recommend Ken as one of the most jovial, light-hearted and polite people I had the privilege to know at Hamp Camp [Undergrad College]. He and I were student VAX Admins and helped put together formats to mentor and teach newbie students about the VAX VMS system that we had in our Computer Lab.” April 11, 2008
