got online in 1989. First internet in 1990. Started a mailing list in 1990/1 and got it on a LISTSERV by 91/2. but once home in 1992 it was VERY HARD to get on the internet again. BBSs and online services like PC-Link/AOL and Prodigy and Compuserve were easy. But internet was not. BUT i succeeded in getting a UUCP setup at my house during 92 and beyond using WAFFLE BBS software which gave me a few capabilities and allowed me to continue participating in usenet and email and stuff.
