« I keep gong away and then coming back to this but this is the last I swear :) This is the final fourier transform done by the “Fourier Anime” app which i what I used to make the transforms. I cleaned up the original in Inkscape (converted bitmap to paths, then did a “simplify”), and put the original image underneath a little lighter] It’s the closest I’ll get (for now) for sketching but between the first attempt it made and the last, it gives me some idea of what minimum information is needed to capture a face.

That’s communication in a store+forward environment. Letters, movies, do much the same. But feedback is what makes the loop. Yesterday 6:30am relative to my time “now” relative to the time you’ll be reading this would make it seem that the transferring of brain waves would be linear – and it would be. Entropy of time, the moment is lost right? Not so with communication. The moment there’s a response back, the loop continues, an algorithm that feeds into itself, building itself, growing itself, sharing itself, even if there are many selves. In communication, there’s a messy ‘one’. that’s trying to understand itself through different people, created by those very people, who sometimes don’t even know the group ‘one’ is even there but it always is. »

No. They would not have magically just “happened with advancement”. The lower use of energy is a DELIBERATE engineering request made of the manufacturers worldwide by governments. Worldwide, manufacturing is strictly regulated by their respective countries and industries. Electrical systems worldwide are ancient and crumbling. Governments such as China’s strictly regulate manufacturing standards so as to prevent rolling blackouts, etc. Coal is cheap but substandard – China went from 74% use of coal in 2007 down to 54%. They are working on reducing the effects of climate change because it directly effects farmland, etc. As a country that tries to be self-sufficient, working to eliminate the need for fossil fuel is the right choice and it’s regulated by their government to that end. “Naturally happened”? Please. Nothing at these scales “naturally happen”. They’re regulated by governments for specific national aims.
Well, for one thing continue successful programs we’ve been doing: Example: Have you noticed how things take a lot less power to operate? Everything is running off of little low watt usb cables instead of cords? It’s all been a herculean effort worldwide between governments and electronics manufacturers to vastly reduce the amount of energy requirements for the increasingly complex equipment we operate daily. It allows us to CONTINUE to use 100 year old power lines and cables and ancient transformers as our needs grow and grow and grow. Why’d we get the catalytic converters? You remember smog .
This is why the direction of dismantling public universities and defunding public libraries as ways lawmakers use can protest ideas they don’t like is ultimately self-sacrificial
Business owners need workers. Can’t grow babies fast enough. They let the gates open, the migrants find where they’re needed for employment at 75 cents to the dollar and the govt helps the cities that needed them minimally to allow commerce to continue. It’s driven by need. But we never admit it.
It’s not good to have “favorite thought leaders” to follow imo. Break your icons. They keep you from having to think and it becomes “hey guys watch this from my favorite thought leader – don’t you agree with him? why won’t you agree with him? He’s right, you know.”
