Good intuition builder for dot product. I’ve seen his stuff before, occasionally finding myself on his site. It’s good for when I know something but then, suddenly, it’s gone and it looks foreign to me again. Looking at this code, my brain went BZZT. PVector v = new PVector(10, 20, 0); float d = v.dot(60, 80, 0); println(d); // Prints “2200.0” But now I can see it. In this case, it’s as simple as column addition. I do this all the time in Excel and now I can see it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrDAU2N0FEg

Looking at this code, my brain went BZZT.

PVector v = new PVector(10, 20, 0);
float d = v.dot(60, 80, 0);
println(d); // Prints “2200.0”

But now I can see it. In this case, it’s as simple as column addition. I do this all the time in Excel and now I can see it.
