Going to try to sneak in a few minutes to go back to “what lines are important?” while I can – and I just found a paper called “Which Edges Matter?” which is a mix of academic and corporate (includes Microsoft Research), which always puts a little ‘taint’ on a study to me – but I know enough about the subject matter now to be able to discern and hopefully learn a few things. I can now anticipate what it _should_ say, which is a good position to be in as it’s less topsy-turvey than “I don’t know anything” or “whatever you say, Sir” and allots you more of a sorting ability in quality of other’s work while also learning whatever is new to gleam.

Sneaking in a few minutes on what lines are important. Found a study called “Which edges matter?” which is pretty on target. I know enough to know what it _should_ say and hopefully will learn a few things on top of it.
