Given that, I will call upon and ask a very simple question about Time:

One of the great benefits to social networking such as Facebook but even more broadly the Internet in general is the access to the living encyclopedias, emoters and reasoners in a greater “brain trust” than was once available in our less-connected days of yore.

Given that, I will call upon and ask a very simple question about Time:

The block view of Time or more specifically, the growing block view of time, tends to dominate the Sciences – and rightly so, for a past-present-future arrangement that is in eternal “block” that can be sliced and diced with a clear past-present-future arrow is kinda necessary for a simple cause–>effect relationship between Did, Doings and Dones.

Yet, it is not the only view of Time that is possible.

My question is this: What ideas out of the world of Science and Philosophy of Science are examples that are not block or growing block views of Time?
