Gatekeeping is a tricky affair.
On a coarse level, you have:
MAINFRAME (many people, one computer)
PERSONAL COMPUTER (one person, one computer)
UBIQUITOUS COMPUTING (one person to many computers)
So, we’re in the PERSONAL COMPUTER zone with the group.
SO how does that subdivide? A number of ways.
Anything in the “obsolete computer museum” certainly would qualify.
So: PERSONAL COMPUTER: OBSOLETE.
But it’s more than that. So that’s where things get wonky.
