I’ve known people who have with theirs. I don’t fault them; everybody’s life paths go where they go. For me, wouldn’t.
Funny thing about Einstein as is true for anybody who’s a one-trick pony and REALLY good at their trick; sometimes the other parts of their life are surprisingly normal and common, which includes all of the common types of traps normal people fall into. Kissing cousins isn’t uncommon… although sex-with, perhaps less so.
There’s definitely a strong relationship between music and being able to make lateral connections in thinking while also ‘staying the course” in a logical fashion.
Feynman had to make his OWN written language to describe his knowledge.
Einstein loved the media circus and knew how to play to the camera and to reporters well. He was talking about physics for 20-30 years AFTER his major contributions in the field. The newer physicists just rolled their eyes at him, like current physicists do with Hawking, but the public loved him. They both knew how to bridge the gap. I’d say if they hadn’t been in physics and wrote in mathematics, they would have been award-winning poets.
